The original goose, Ariane has loved coming up with unexpected ways to use spaces for as long as she can remember. Born in Paris and raised in Connecticut, she rearranges furniture in hotel rooms and is admittedly obsessed with lighting and dimmers. With family spread across the globe from Texas to France to Singapore and everywhere in between, she has seen many homes and lifestyles in the places she's visited, always paying close attention to details and soaking everything in. Don’t be surprised if you drive around locally and find her stopped on the side of road to photograph a beautiful gate or architectural detail she wants to remember.

After graduating from Brooks School and Colby College, her first job landed her in the NY showroom of F. Schumacher & Co. where her passion for design was further ignited. She’s especially inspired by that first look at a room or home, when her creativity kicks into high gear. In 2018, she took the leap and launched LFG, embracing her second chapter with no regrets and proving that it’s never too late to start something new.

Ariane stays active in her community by serving on the Board of the Carriage Barn Arts Center in New Canaan and volunteering for Horizons at New Canaan Country School. When she has down time you’ll find her at home in Stamford, binge-watching a Netflix series or sitting in front of the fire in her PJs, alongside her husband, their two college-aged kids, and their three Havanese dogs. She’s dedicated to creating that same feeling of elegant comfort for her clients.
